Desroches has served as AT&T’s CFO since 2021, and he plans to retire at the end of this year. Prior to that, he held the same role at WarnerMedia, overseeing financial operations across HBO, Turner Broadcasting and Warner Bros., following AT&T’s 2018 acquisition of Time Warner.
His tenure at GE HealthCare is set to begin January 4, 2027.
“Pascal is a highly respected executive and accomplished financial leader whose experience spans corporate strategy, capital deployment, and investor engagement,” GE HealthCare Board Chair H. Lawrence Culp Jr. said in a statement.
As CFO of Turner Broadcasting, Desroches helped guide the spinoffs of three subsidiaries, Time Warner Cable, AOL and Time. This summer, GE Healthcare announced it is considering selling off its patient care solutions business, with its $3 billion portfolio spanning monitoring, diagnostic cardiology, maternal infant care and anesthesia.
Earlier in his career, Desroches held positions at KPMG and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He also sits on the boards of Honeywell Aerospace, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and kidney care provider DaVita.
In his retirement announcement in June, AT&T said Desroches will be succeeded by Jennifer Biry, former CFO of McAfee. Biry also previously served as CFO of WarnerMedia.
