Outgoing Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) CEO William Weldon will take home $143.5 million in retirement benefits when he walks in April.
The veteran J&J employee racked up more than $95 million in deferred compensation and $48.4 million in pension benefits over more than 40 years with the health care titan, according to an SEC filing.

MASSDEVICE ON CALL — Interventional cardiologist Dr. Geoffrey Hartzler, who pioneered angioplasty treatment for heart attack patients, died last weekend at the age of 65.
In 1981 Hartzler became the 1st to use percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty to treat a heart attack patient. He further refined the procedure, amid growing skepticism, and established angioplasty as the gold standard for treatment.
Teleflex taps former Tomotherapy CFO Powell as finance chief | Personnel Roundup
Teleflex (NYSE:TFX) named Thomas Powell CFO effective March 9, replacing Richard Meier, who was ousted the same day.
Powell joined the Limerick, Pa.-based device maker last year as senior vice president of global finance, according to regulatory filings, prior to which he was CFO of TomoTherapy, which was subsequently sold to Accuray (NSDQ:ARAY).

Pignatelli set his annual pay package at $1 and 35,000 shares of BLTI stock when he took the role of vice chairman in July 2010, a month after he was terminated as president, SEC filings show.
