Inquis Medical announced that it closed a Series C financing round worth proceeds of $75 million.
Menlo Park, California–based Inquis received the investment from an undisclosed strategic investor. It plans to use funds to accelerate the nationwide commercial expansion of its Aventus thrombectomy system. Funds may also go toward the company’s next-generation product pipeline.
Aventus, a next-generation mechanical thrombectomy platform, features proprietary tissue-sensing technology. It provides operators with real-time information on the tissue composition in contact with the device. The system offers enhanced precision and control during procedures. Inquis says it designed Aventus to address the critical limitations of current technologies.
The system won FDA 510(k) clearance along with Inquis’ blood return system for peripheral indications in 2024. The company brought in a $40 million Series B funding round at the end of 2024 as well. In June 2025, Inquis announced FDA clearance for Aventus in treating pulmonary embolism (PE), coming just about a month after the company shared positive study data for Aventus in PE.
Following this funding round, Inquis plans to expand its sales and physician-training infrastructure. It also hopes to grow its clinical evidence base.
