This launch follows the launch of the Venue platform, which uses the AI-driven Caption Guidance, last fall.
Venue Sprint, a new ultrasound device, combines Venue software and AI-enabled tools. Designed for maximum portability, it delivers uncompromised image quality and wireless probe capability with Vscan Air handheld ultrasound systems. The portable system, offered in a tablet form, enables care across a wide range of environments. That includes critical care, emergency medicine, medical transport and more.
The new system delivers performance consistent with other Venue systems to simplify the learning process and experience.
GE HealthCare now also offers other Venue family ultrasound systems with wireless probe connectivity. It also added supplementary advanced clinical tools and the latest ViewPoint 6 updates for increased efficiency and optimized workflow.
Venue systems feature optional clinical tools to assist users of varying experience levels to conduct patient exams. Those include a bladder volume tool and auto volume tool. Venue Coach MSK, a documentation tool, provides reference images and anatomy markups as well as video tutorials.
“The Venue Sprint—and new enhancements to the Venue family—are designed to empower clinicians to deliver care wherever it is needed with the simplicity, flexibility and support they require to make confident clinical decisions,” said Karley Yoder, GM, POCUS and chief digital officer, Ultrasound at GE HealthCare. “We are excited to expand and enhance our point of care portfolio with unique solutions that build on our strengths in digital and handheld ultrasound to help clinicians navigate the evolving healthcare landscape.”
