Jennings says she will remain with the Marlborough, Massachusetts-based medtech giant through this month and will soon share more details on her future.
“July marks my final month at Boston Scientific as I prepare to begin an exciting opportunity in a new segment of medtech,” Jennings wrote on LinkedIn. “While I’m excited for what’s ahead, leaving is bittersweet after spending the last 20 years with a company and people that have meant so much to me.”
According to her LinkedIn profile, Jennings joined Boston Scientific as a marketing manager in 2004. From there, she held roles of increasing responsibility, particularly across peripheral vascular and peripheral interventions functions.
In February, the company promoted Jennings to lead Vascular Therapies following the retirement of longtime leader Jeff Mirviss.
Now, about five months later, she departs her post within the Boston Scientific business that spans several treatment areas, including intravascular lithotripsy, transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR) and drug-eluting stents.
“Boston Scientific has given me the opportunity to work alongside extraordinary colleagues, partner with incredible physicians and clinicians, and help advance technologies that have improved care for patients around the world,” Jennings said.
“I look forward to sharing more about my next chapter soon,” she continued. “Here’s to new beginnings, lifelong connections and continuing to make a difference for patients everywhere.”
