The company shared on LinkedIn today that it selected Jennings, who has been at Boston Scientific for more than two decades, to succeed the retiring Jeff Mirviss.
“Please join us in welcoming Catherine (Yankelevich) Jennings as our new president of Vascular Therapies at Boston Scientific,” the company said. “We also extend a huge thanks to Jeff Mirviss for his leadership and contributions over the years. We look forward to what’s ahead as Cat leads the business into its next exciting chapter.”
Mirviss notified the company last August that he intended to retire, with an effective date set for Dec. 1, 2025. He agreed to remain with the company as a senior advisor after his retirement through Feb. 27, 2026.
“After 28 years at Boston Scientific, I’m closing an extraordinary chapter and beginning the next with a focus on board service, executive coaching and advisory work,” Mirviss wrote on LinkedIn. “[I’m] grateful for the many customers, colleagues, mentors, and teams who made the journey so meaningful – and energized for what’s ahead.”
Jennings, according to her LinkedIn profile, joined Boston Scientific as a marketing manager in 2004. From there, she held roles of increasing responsibility, particularly across peripheral vascular and peripheral interventions functions.
Now, she assumes the position of president of Vascular Therapies, a business that spans several treatment areas, including intravascular lithotripsy transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR) and drug-eluting stents, among others.
