RenovoRx closed its Series B financing round, bringing in about $1.2 million for the catheter maker.
The San Jose, Calif.-based medical device company is working on catheter technology that directly delivers fluids to the peripheral vascular system. The financing round was led by angel funding group Golden Seeds, alongside the Angels’ Forum, Astia Angels and Amidzad Partners.
“The leading position of Golden Seeds in our highly experienced investor base validates our lean organizational model and the significant opportunity to advance patient care with our fluid delivery device and method. This funding will support our important milestones and enable us to meet the compelling clinical need for our system in 2014,” CEO Marta Gaia Zanchi said in prepared remarks.
