Philips stock up on strong Q4 2025 results

February 10, 2026 By Chris Newmarker

This is the logo of Philips.Philips (NYSE: PHG)  stock surged on the NYSE today after the Dutch medtech giant reported Street-beating Q4 2025 results and forecast 3–4.5% comparable sales growth in 2026.

PHIA shares on the Amsterdam exchange closed up more than 8% to €26.75 apiece. PHG shares on the NYSE were up more than 11% to $32.91 apiece in morning trading.

“In 2025, we delivered on our commitments as we scaled better care for more people. We strengthened our company while navigating a dynamic macro-environment. We ended the year with strong order growth and sales, robust margin expansion despite tariffs, solid cash generation, and we exit the year with a robust balance sheet,” CEO Roy Jakobs said in a news release.

Philips earned €397 million, or €0.41 per share, from €5.097 billion in revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, versus a loss of €333 million, or €0.35 per share, from €5.044 billion in Q4 2024. Comparable order intake was up 7% in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Adjusted to exclude one-time items, Philips reported EPS of €0.60, which beat the Wall Street consensus of U.S.¢50 EPS and €5.03 billion in revenue.

“Over the past three years, we have strengthened Philips at its core. Our employees live our culture of impact with care,
guided by an expert leadership team,” Jakobs said.

“We prioritized quality, built supply chain resilience, and simplified how we operate. This focus delivered customer-driven innovation. We launched the new Azurion neuro biplane platform to advance minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment for neurovascular patients. We presented our latest innovations in 3.0T helium-free MR. We introduced centralized patient monitoring designed for enterprise-scale care. … We remained true to our purpose, and delivered on our promise to create value with sustainable impact.”

Last month, Philips completed its acquisition of AI-powered imaging tech developer Spectrawave.

The company’s 2026–2028 financial targets include mid-single-digit comparable sales growth CAGR over the period and mid-teens adjusted EBITA margin in 2028.  In addition to 3–4.5% comparable sales growth in 2026, the company forecasts an adjusted EBITA margin of 12.5–13.0%.
