Insulet’s (NASDAQ: PODD) web-based diabetes data platform is making its way to the U.S., designed to offer Omnipod users a view into their glucose and insulin trends while providing clinicians a way to deliver personalized recommendations.

Dubbed Omnipod Discover, the system made its debut in multiple international markets earlier this year. Ahead of its full stateside market release, the company said it has already logged 15,000 U.S. users of its Omnipod 5 insulin pump as well as 1,800 healthcare providers as part of an initial rollout.

The platform is now available to all Omnipod 5 wearers, while professionals can enroll and receive training through a company sales representative. Users receive weekly reports through text messages on their smartphone, and providers can use glucose data to suggest adjustments to pump settings and bolus events.
