Jones originally joined the company in April 1995 as a territory manager. He held roles of increasing responsibility over the next three decades, first becoming a VP of sales in 2010.
In April 2018, he took on the role of GM for Commercial Endoscopy. Then, in May 2022, he took on the position he’d hold for the next three-and-a-half years as SVP and president of Endoscopy.
Boston Scientific’s Endoscopy business features a wide range of offerings, including single-use scope and imaging technologies, radiofrequency ablation solutions, enteral and esophageal stents, tissue resection technologies and many more. The unit focuses on diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary conditions and supporting weight loss in patients with obesity.
“To my Boston Scientific colleagues and the many customers I’ve had the privilege to serve—you have truly meant the world to me. I’m grateful for the relationships, memories, and the shared purpose we’ve pursued together,” Jones concluded. “Making a difference for patients has been the honor of my career, and it is something I will always carry with me.
“I have every confidence that Endoscopy’s leadership and teams will continue to advance the field and improve patient care — and I’ll be cheering you on as you do.”
