
Adaptyx Biosciences announced today that it raised $14 million in seed funding to support its multi-analyte molecular monitoring device.
The seed round brings its total funding to $23 million since inception in 2022. Interlagos led the round with significant participation from Overwater Ventures. Starbloom Capital, Stanford University, the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, Hyperlink Ventures, Cantos Ventures, Humba Ventures and Seaside Ventures all participated, too.
Adaptyx develops a biowearable platform aiming to redefine continuous health monitoring. The company designed its patch device to move beyond glucose and capture a much wider range of human biochemistry. That includes small molecules, electrolytes, hormones, drugs and proteins.
The device pairs continuous molecular sensing with AI-powered analytics to transform data into actionable insights. Its Molecular Switch Foundry accelerates biosensor development by integrating automated molecular design, parallelized screening and AI-driven optimization. It aims to compress development timelines from years to just weeks.
“Each new switch generates structured datasets that make the system smarter and faster, rapidly expanding the analyte library and powering new applications,” said Alex Yoshikawa, Adaptyx co-founder and chief science officer.

Adaptyx plans to use proceeds from the financing to accelerate R&D and product development for the patch device. It also plans to expand its molecular switch pipeline and support ongoing clinical trials while scaling its team across engineering, data science and clinical operations.
Those molecular switches — laboratory-made DNA bioreceptors — bind target molecules with high sensitivity and specificity. Upon analyte recognition, they undergo a predictable and reversible structural change. This enables continuous, precise tracking of diverse biomarkers and establishes a new class of modular biosensors.
Adaptyx aims to add hundreds of biomolecules to its continuous monitoring capabilities. It also seeks to establish a foundational molecular data platform needed for personalized medicine.
Applications in development include heart failure management, hormone optimization, care delivery augmentation and personalized wellness. Heart failure includes monitoring electrolytes, kidney function and cardiac biomarkers. Continuous hormeon and metabolite profiling can reveal rhythms and imbalance to help with hormone optimization.
The device could also monitor drug levels and critical care biomarkers in real time to optimal dosing and rapid response. Meanwhile, it tracks molecular health markers for visibility into stress, metabolism and recovery.
