Zimmer Biomet (NYSE:ZBH) executive Mark Bezjak is ending a more than 15-year career with the orthopedic device giant, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Dental products and tech company Dentsply Sirona (Nasdaq: XRAY), announced yesterday that Bezjak is joining as group VP of its Americas regional commercial organization, effective Jan. 28.
The SEC filing said Bezjak, ZB’s Americas president, will depart effective as of Jan. 16. Bezjak informed Zimmer Biomet of his plans to resign on Jan. 8.
Bezjak began serving as president of the Americas in 2023. In this role, he oversaw all commercial, downstream marketing and distribution activities in North and Latin America.
He held several positions throughout his tenure as he moved up the ranks at ZB, beginning as director of corporate sales in 2008.
In hiring Bezjak out of Zimmer Biomet, Dentsply Sirona officials noted that he has led comprehensive commercial transformations and technological advancements, and delivered consistent revenue and operating income growth.
“Mark’s appointment is a critical step in ensuring we have the right leadership in place to execute our growth strategy,” said Aldo Denti, Dentsply Sirona EVP and chief commerical officer, in a news release.
