Volcano, incorporated in January 2000, makes a suite of consoles and single-use disposables for the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. The company’s offerings include multi- modality consoles for intravascular ultrasound and functional measurement capabilities, as well as the disposables used with the systems. Volcano is bolstering its functional percutaneous interventional (PCI) business. Volcano also has a telecom operation.
