French ultrasound maker SuperSonic Imagine eyes the globe with new $36M funds
Paris, France-based medical device maker SuperSonic Imagine aims to use the funds from a $36 million raise to accelerate global sales and marketing efforts, according to a company statement.
The company’s going to focus much of those efforts in China, one of the world’s fastest-growing medical device markets, which some analyst say will reach $1 trillion in value by 2020.

SuperSonic Imagine reels in $45.3 million
Ultrasound imaging company SuperSonic Imagine S.A. raised €34.5 million, or $45.3 million, in a Series C financing round.
The funding will support the international commercial expansion of the Aix-en-Provence, France-based company’s Aixplorer MultiWave technology, in addition to developing new clinical applications for its products, according to the company.
