RadNet today announced it completed the purchase of iCAD, adding the breast-imaging AI developer to RadNet’s DeepHealth digital health division.

iCAD’s software for cancer detection, risk evaluation, breast density analysis and arterial calcification assessment is installed at more than 1,500 provider sites in over 50 countries. DeepHealth will merge those tools with its own screening and diagnostic products to improve detection rates and streamline workflows.
RadNet said the combined platform will have the ability to interpret more than 10 million mammograms a year, extending AI‑enabled breast screening to a wider range of communities, including underserved areas.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
