Sharan will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the Fridley, Minnesota-based company’s innovation and clinical evidence plans and help guide physician, society and education engagements. He will also serve as a medical advisor to the business and interact with the medical community to identify current and future business opportunities to address unmet medical needs.
Prior to joining the company, he was president of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Neuromodulation Society. Sharan has more than 25 years of experience and is a practicing neurosurgeon. He currently serves as co-director of the Neuro Restoration Center and professor of neurological surgery and neurology at Thomas Jefferson University, Jefferson Medical College.
