Henry Schein launches open-architecture digital dental workflow offering

August 26, 2025 By Sean Whooley

Henry Schein (Nasdaq: HSIC) announced today that it launched LinkIt, a seamless digital workflow for dental practice management.

LinkIt enables dental teams using Dentrix, Henry Schein One’s leading on-premise dental practice management software (PMS), to easily connect to a range of digital imaging, planning and design systems. The company says LinkIt — available in the U.S. and Canada — provides an end-to-end workflow solution.

Henry Schein designed Linkit to streamline the workflow process and minimize repetitive data entry. Dental professionals can now enter case details once in Dentrix, launch intraoral scanning software directly from the platform and maintain a cohesive flow from imaging to design to delivery.

The company says it creates a central repository for all diagnostic imaging, accommodating inputs from a range of device manufacturers.

LinkIt reflects Henry Schein’s commitment to supporting the unique needs of dental practices, the company says. It focuses on enabling interoperability and reducing complexity in the digital workflow. The offering also removes technology silos and allows clinicians to work across a range of preferred brands and platforms. It already features integrations with platforms from Planmeca and Medit and has expanded to include Dentsply Sirona’s DS Core. Henry Schein expects more scanners soon, too.

Henry Schein One Chief Customer and Growth Officer Ali Hyatt said the platform makes technology “feel invisible.” It enables dentists to stay focused on their patients instead of the technology.

“Dental professionals have made it clear that they need interoperable, flexible systems that effortlessly integrate,” said Mackenzie Richter, VP, global commercial digital workflow solutions, Henry Schein. “The LinkIt workflow is our answer to that call — a future-ready framework designed to simplify digital workflows, enable prosthetic workflows, and support every step of the patient journey.”
