GE Healthcare (NYSE:GE) expanded its Brivo Plus C-arm product line with the OEC Brivo Plus, a device used for basic surgical imaging. The new FDA clearance makes the Brivo Plus the 1st in this line of surgical C-arms sold in the States.
The Salt Lake City, Utah-based company touted the device’s new features, such as advanced clear intelligence imaging, a user-friendly interface and wireless connection.
"We’re thrilled to bring our line of Brivo C-arms to the U.S. with the new OEC Brivo Plus," said CEO Jim Corrigan in prepared remarks. "The C-arm offers an affordable solution without sacrificing the technology and innovation OEC is known for. With its compact design and easy maneuverability, the OEC Brivo Plus is a great option for our customers in surgery centers and facilities that need an easy-to-use, accurate mobile C-arm."
