Volcano (NSDQ:VOLC) said last week that its president for U.S. & APLAC commercial sales, Jorge (George) Quinoy, is leaving the company effective today.
Volcano said it agreed to pay Quinoy a benefits stipend of approximately $9,393 plus severance payments worth roughly $408,000, representing 6 months’ base salary, a prorated bonus at target compensation through June 2014 and an additional cash payment.
Quinoy joined Volcano in 2001 and was named vice president of global sales in July 2003. In 2008, Volcano named him executive vice president of global sales; 4 years later he was named U.S. & APLACE commercial sales president.
InVivo Therapeutics expands executives’ roles
InVivo Therapeutics (OTC:NVIV)
added responsibilities to several of its top executives, piling investor relations on top of Christopher McNulty’s duties as vice president of business development. In a separate release, InVivo said it also promoted vice president for manufacturing & engineering William D’Agostinoto senior vice president of operations; added project management duties to vice president for clinical operations Kristin Neff’s duties; and added reimbursement planning to regulatory affairs vice president Lisa Crockett’s role.
