Layoffs: Zimmer Spine, Getinge shutter plants in Texas

At least 95 Texas medical device employees will lose their jobs this year after Zimmer Spine closes its facility in Austin and Getinge Group shutters a plant in San Antonio.
At least 95 Texas medical device workers are slated to lose their jobs by the end of the year as medtech companies Zimmer (NYSE:ZMH) and Getinge (PINK:GETI B) look to streamline their operations in the region.
