Wytech Industries, Inc. has named Michael Brown to the new position of Vice President of Global Business Development. Mr. Brown brings more than ten years of medical device industry experience to his new role at Wytech and will be responsible for sales team development, key account sales, marketing strategy/execution, and comprehensive business development.
Before Wytech, Mr. Brown was employed by AdvancedCath (formerly TechDevice Corporation) in a variety of executive leadership positions including Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Vice President of Business Development. Also, Mr. Brown served on their Board of Directors. In his tenure at AdvancedCath, Mr. Brown played a key role in executing the company’s acquisition and organic growth strategy that resulted in the sale of the firm to TE Connectivity. Moreover, Mr. Brown led the build-out of a new state-of-the-art AdvancedCath manufacturing facility in Costa Rica.
Prior to AdvancedCath, Mr. Brown was instrumental in growing TechDevice Corporation by building a sales force, establishing an engineering team, and implementing a fully integrated marketing program, including the development of the TechDevice brand.
Mr. Brown earned a BA in communication at UMass, Amherst and an MBA at Boston College, Carroll Graduate School of Management.
