Gynesonics names former GE Ultrasound chief engineer Chen as veep of engineering & advanced tech
Gynesonics said today it hired on former GE Ultrasound chief engineer Dr. Jiayu Chen as its new vice president of engineering and advanced technologies.
“Jiayu’s proven track record of innovation along with his strategic vision will add significant expertise to our current and future technology platforms. As we continue to thoughtfully scale the organization, his depth of knowledge in ultrasound technology, leadership and drive for collaboration will support new engineering development and clinical solutions, enhancing our product offerings, while creating a foundation of excellence. We look forward to working with Jiayu and his contribution to the continued success of the organization,” CEO Christopher Owens said in a prepared release.
