Biolase names ex-Patient Safety Tech exec Roux as marketing veep, former Zimmer exec Wilson as HR veep
Biolase (NSDQ:BIOL) said yesterday it appointed ex-Zimmer Biomet (NYSE:ZBH) human resources director Matthew Wilson as its new veep of HR and tagged former Patient Safety Technologies veep of product management Michael Roux as its new veep of marketing.

His experience in customer-centric marketing, his technical acumen, and analytic prowess through his six-sigma black belt certification make him well suited to help lead our product realization and commercial efforts to significantly higher levels. I had the good fortune of working with Matt for over six years as my Human Resources leader and business partner at Zimmer Dental, so he is a well-known entity to me. Matt is a remarkable judge of talent, and has great experience in the recruitment, retention, and development of professionals across all disciplines, with special emphasis on the Sales function where he led the human resources efforts on a sales force with well over 150 territories. He has been certified in multiple world-class organizational and development programs which will greatly benefit Biolase and its employees,” CEO Harold Flynn said in a press release.
