The FDA said it will organize a public workshop to talk women’s health strategy, organized through its Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH).
The event, part of the Health of Woman program, will bring together health professionals, industry representatives and patients to discuss the performance of medical devices in women.
A preliminary agenda published by the FDA says the sessions will cover recruitment for device studies, sex-specific clinical findings, and priority research in women’s health.
The workshop will take place June 24-25 at the FDA campus in Silver Spring, Md. and will also be turned into a webcast, according to the FDA announcement .
