Women’s health devices maker Viveve appoints Patricia Scheller CEO
Privately held Viveve today named Patricia Scheller CEO, also adding her to the company’s board of directors.
Scheller has spent more than 25 years in the health care industry, including as CEO of Prescient Medical and SomaLogic.
Viveve develops a medical device used for the non-surgical treatment of post-partum laxity of the vaginal introitus. The device has CE Mark approval in the European Union as well as regulatory clearance from Health Canada.

Bothell, Wash.-based Cardiac Science named Neal Long its new chief, nabbing him from his executive role at Draeger Medical Systems North America.

Non-surgical weight-loss devices maker ReShape Medical added Robert Grant to its board of directors. Grant is also chairman of Strathspey Crown LLC, a growth equity firm, and was formerly president of the medical aesthetics division of Allergan (NYSE:AGN).
