HHS’s Sebelius may stay for another term
Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius might stay for a 2nd term, which would be unusual for someone in that position, according to a Kaiser Health News report.
"Only one HHS secretary has stayed on that long, and the job was much easier then," said an un-named former administration official, referring to Clinton-era HHS secretary Dona Shalala, who held the position for 8 years. "As for Sebelius, it’s hard to say."
"She’s got a helluva lot of energy and wants to see things through, so I expect she’ll stay for at least part of a second term," the official added.
