
HHS’s Sebelius may stay for another term
Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius might stay for a 2nd term, which would be unusual for someone in that position, according to a Kaiser Health News report.
"Only one HHS secretary has stayed on that long, and the job was much easier then," said an un-named former administration official, referring to Clinton-era HHS secretary Dona Shalala, who held the position for 8 years. "As for Sebelius, it’s hard to say."
"She’s got a helluva lot of energy and wants to see things through, so I expect she’ll stay for at least part of a second term," the official added.

Mindray Medical co-CEO leaves
Chinese medical device company Mindray’s (NYSE:MR) co-CEO Xu Hang resigned from the position but will continue to serve as a chairman of the company, effective immediately.
The board also promoted Li Xiting, Mindray’s president and co-CEO, to be the company’s president & CEO.

Becton Dickinson welcomes new COO
Becton Dickinson & Co. (NYSE:BDX) promoted William Kozy from executive VP to the company’s COO, which took effect November 1, 2012.
Kozy joined Becton Dickinson as president for BD Diagnostics in 2003, prior to which he held other leadership positions within the company.
