- WEST taps Ilene Fischer for executive director
Women Entrepreneurs in Science & Technology, a nonprofit organization for women in science and technology, has appointed Ilene Fischer as executive director. In this role, Fischer is responsible for working closely with WEST’s boardto fulfill the WEST mission of improving the leadership status of women in science and technology by inspiring them to achieve success in their organizations and create positive impact in their communities. Fischer is an expert in helping organizations infuse innovation into an organizational culture while producing extraordinary business results. Her consulting clients have included: NASA Research and Technology, Pfizer Groton R&D Labs, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Duracell R&D, Coca Cola, Lucent Technologies, Unilever, and Novartis.
- InoLife Appoints Wayne Erwin as Vice President of Business Development
InoLife Technologies Inc. (OTC:INOL), a service based healthcare products development, integration and marketing company, has appointed Wayne Erwin as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Erwin has more than 25 years of experience working in executive management roles at Fortune 500 companies, start-up government organizations, medical device companies, hospital systems and information technology.
- Todd Creech Named CFO and VP of Business Development for SARcode Corp.
SARcode Corp. named Todd Creech as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business Development effective February 1, 2011. Creech has been fulfilling both positions as a consultant to SARcode since Nov. 2010.
- Cayenne Medical Appoints David Springer President & CEO
Cayenne Medical Inc. a private sports medicine device company specializing in the soft tissue reconstruction segment, announced that effective immediately, David B. Springer will succeed James Hart as President and Chief Executive Officer, who has transitioned to Executive Chairman due to health reasons. Hart, who has led Cayenne Medical as Chairman, President and CEO since the company’s inception in 2005, will continue to work with management and the Board in guiding the strategic direction of the company.
- IDRI Announces Appointment of H. Stewart Parker as CEO
The Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI) announced the appointment of H. Stewart Parker as its new Chief Executive Officer and new member of the IDRI board of directors. Parker is a widely recognized figure in the biotechnology industry, having served as President and CEO of Targeted Genetics Corp. and, formerly, Vice President, Corporate Development at Immunex Corp.
