Report: ViewRay tables $52m IPO

ViewRay postponed its initial public offering with which it planned to raise $52 million for its MRI-guided radiation therapy technology, Renaissance Capital reported.
Oakwood Village, Ohio-based ViewRay had planned to float 4 million shares at $12 to $14 apiece. Read more
GI Dynamics exercises 1-for-10 reverse split

GI Dynamics said it conducted a 1-for-10 reverse stock split in an effort to boost its flagging share price.
Investors were paid cash for any resulting fractional shares, while options, restricted stock units and warrants were rounded to the next whole unit, Lexington, Mass.-based GI Dynamics said. Read more
BSD Medical rebrands as Perseon, wins expanded FDA nod for MicroThermX

BSD Medical, which earlier this year rebranded as Perseon Corp. in a bid to focus on its core microwave ablation business, said today that it won an expanded 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its MicroThermX device.
The new indication for the soft tissue ablation system covers laparoscopic ablation procedures using image guidance, Salt Lake City-based Perseon said. PRSN shares jumped 15.2% today to 38¢ apiece on the news. Read more
Positron conducts 1-for-400 reverse stock split

Cardiac imaging specialist Positron Corp. said it conducted a 1-for-400 reverse stock split yesterday.
As a result of the transaction, shareholders received one common share for every 400 shares they held. The split was held at market open yesterday. Read more
