Theragenics renews exec non-compete agreements in line with a new Georgia law
Theragenics (NYSE:TGX) announced in regulatory filings that it updated its non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements with its executive suite to take advantage of new Georgia laws that "enhance the enforceability of such provisions."
The Georgia statue, signed into law in May 2011, also allows judges to "blue pencil" new agreements when particular provisions are deemed inappropriate or too broad, rather than rejecting the agreements outright, according to a press release. Read more
Ivivi Health names Kathryn Clubb its new CEO
Ivivi Health Sciences promoted Kathryn Clubb from her position as president and chief operating officer, handing her he keys to the corner office. Outgoing CEO and company co-founder Steven Gluckstern will remain with the company as board chairman.
