Tevosol said it named Organ Recovery Systems veteran Ron Mills to be its new CEO.

ElectroCore CEO Amato to resign
ElectroCore (NSDQ:ECOR) said last week that CEO Frank Amato is slated to resign once a new chief executive is found, or by Sept. 30 if a replacement isn’t selected by then.
“Under Frank’s leadership, ElectroCore made tremendous progress, including successfully navigating our initial public offering and transitioning to a commercial-stage company with a novel technology targeting three high-value, difficult-to-treat headache indications,” chairwoman Carrie Cox said in prepared remarks. “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Frank for his contributions as we established a foundation to drive future growth, and I wish him the very best in his future endeavors. We have immediately initiated a search for Frank’s successor, and we are committed to ensuring a seamless transition.”

Zimmer Biomet lures MGH doc for CMO spot
Zimmer Biomet (NYSE:ZBH) lured a prominent orthopedic surgeon from Mass. General Hospital to be its new chief medical officer.
Dr. Andrew Freiberg joined the Warsaw, Ind.-based company March 1, according to an internal email obtained by MassDevice.com. Freiberg, who is also an associated professor at the Harvard Medical School, is the vice-chair of Mass. General Hospital’s orthopedic surgery dept. and chief of its hip & knee replacement center.
