Surmodics (NSDQ:SRDX) announced that it acquired Vetex Medical, a developer and manufacturer of venous clot removal solutions. Buying Galway, Ireland–based Vetex Medical provides Surmodics a second FDA-cleared device for its thrombectomy portfolio.
