InVivo Therapeutics (OTC:NVIV) is on its 3rd financial chief since August, saying it named Steven McAllister to replace interim CFO Gregory Perry.

Perry stepped down effective Dec. 30 to join an unnamed biotechnology company as its CFO, according to a press release.

Becton Dickinson lands clearance for 10-minute flu test | Regulatory Roundup

Becton Dickinson & Co. (NYSE:BDX) won FDA 510(k) clearance for its BD Veritor 10-minute diagnostic test for influenza A and B last month, amid rumors that the Franklin Lakes, N.J.-based company is ripe for buyout.

Veritor is the first rapid flu test with a digital readout, while older tests are slower, less accurate and more difficult to interpret, according to BD.

Sphere Medical lands on the London exchange

Sphere’s lead product, the Proxima blood analyzer.

U.K.-based device maker Sphere Medical Holding Plc (AIM:SPHR) raised nearly $19 million (£14 million) on its first day trading on the AIM market of London’s stock exchange yesterday.

The company released 17,861,801 shares yesterday morning at an opening price of $1.47 (92.5p) each, bringing the company’s total market capitalization to nearly $54 million (£34 million).
