Vermont-based manufacturing company works to boost local economy and introduce students to world of manufacturing

BETHEL, VT. (September 1, 2014) – GW Plastics is pleased to announce the graduation of their first summer internship class. This year’s class included Tommy Zani, University of Maine ’16; Glen Rogers, Vermont Technical College ’16; Brendan Hackett, University of Vermont ’15; Griffin Thomas, University of Mississippi ’16; and Camden Houghton, University of Vermont ’15. All of this year’s graduates are pursuing degrees in mechanical or electromechanical engineering.

Vermont-based manufacturing company increases room for growth

BETHEL, Vt. (June 3, 2014) – GW Plastics is pleased to announce the expansion of its manufacturing facility in Dongguan, China. Early next year GW will relocate their existing operations into a larger, stand alone, building. This new 125,000 square foot building, located within their existing industrial park, will provide the room needed for the continued growth of their business. The new facility is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2015.

GW Plastics – Dongguan supports their customers with in-house tool building, clean room molding and assembly, and global shipping of finished medical devices.
