Gamma Medica said it’s closed a $16 million Series A round from Psilos Group Managers.
The Northridge, Calif.-based company said it plans to use the cash to expand the commercial footprint of its LumaGen molecular breast imaging device and the LumaGuide biopsy model.
Northridge, Calif.-based Gamma Medica is $3 million into a $16 million equity funding round, the company reported in SEC filings.
The report noted 4 unnamed investors involved in the round, with the 1st sale listed on June 28, 2013. The funding will go toward "working capital," according to the filing.
