OrthoPediatrics acquires ApiFix

OrthoPediatrics announced that it completed the acquisition of ApiFix for $2 million in cash and nearly 1 million shares of OrthoPediatrics’ common stock. FDA approves ApiFix’s MID-C scoliosis device

ApiFix said today that it won a humanitarian device exemption from the FDA for its MID-C implant for treating pediatric scoliosis. ApiFix expands its European footprint

ApiFix said Wednesday it is opening new treatment centers in Italy, France and the Netherlands, which will use the company’s ApiFix minimally invasive system for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.
