Amedica/US Spine and Predictive Biosciences announced licensing and distribution deals with a pair of other companies.
Salt Lake City-based spinal reconstruction implant maker Amedica/US Spine intends to distribute spinal fusion, adhesion barrier and nerve protection products based on BioDlogics’ human cellular and tissue-based products, or allografts.
Amedica takes over U.S. Spine
Amedica Corp. bought out U.S. Spine Inc. for an undisclosed amount.
The Salt Lake City-based spinal and orthopedic implant maker said the "pure play acquisition" expands its spinal device offerings to cover "all spinal surgery indications," including several minimally invasive procedures.
Boca Raton, Fla.-based U.S. Spine created unique technologies for open, MIS, allograft and deformity correction procedures, according to Amedica.
