Mahoney was the only medtech exec to make the top 10 list, while Johnson & Johnson‘s (NYSE:JNJ) Alex Gorsky came in at 28 and Stryker’s Kevin Lobo at 100. Mahoney moved up a position in 2018, coming in at number three in 2017.
As a whole, Boston Scientific was named the number 35 spot to work by GlassDoor, just ahead of Johnson & Johnson at 38.
Mahoney joined the company in 2012 and took over as CEO in 2013, and has been at the head of a significant turnaround effort. Last June, Mahoney said that the company was focused on succeeding in the industry by focusing on “category leadership.”
