A of Sparton Corp. (NYSE:SPA) subsidiary acquired Denver, Colo.-based Delphi Medical Systems contract manufacturing business.
The Schaumburg, Ill.-based manufacturing services provider’s Sparton Medical Systems Colorado LLC subsidiary bought Delphi’s manufacturing assets in a deal worth $8 million. Delphi primarily makes OEM medical devices for the therapeutic device market, including blood separation equipment, spinal surgery products and 3D eye mapping devices. The company also supports an environmental sensor firm for the meteorology and controlled environment applications markets.
Sparton projects annual revenue of approximately $32 million with more customers and a larger footprint in the Western U.S. The deal, which the companies expect to close within 30 days, is subject to undisclosed post-closing adjustments.
