Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc. of Malvern, Penn. landed another $267 million deal from the Dept. of Defense for providing radiology systems equipment.
The year long contract extension will serve the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies, according to the DoD.
Twinsburg, Ohio-based Hitachi Medical Systems America Inc. exercised the second option year of its $12 million contract to supply radiology systems to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies, according to the DoD.
Both contracts have a completion date at the end of March 2012.

The agreement provides Biocare with a worldwide non-exclusive license to develop, manufacture and commercialize an IHC kit for detection of FRA on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tumor tissues.
- ARIAD and MolecularMD to collaborate on leukimia test
ARIAD Pharmaceuticals Inc.
