Siemens Healthcare (NYSE:SI) inked a deal with outside sales firm NGage to complement its in-house sales efforts.
Malvern, Pa.-based Siemens hired NGage U.S. to a 5-year pact to bolster the direct sales team for its women’s health and diagnostic imaging products.
The deal calls for Greensboro, N.C.-base NGage to deploy sales teams in "selected products and geographies" in the U.S., according to a press release.
"Our relationship with NGage will enhance the high level of service we provide to our health care customers," Siemens Clinical Products senior vice president Aaron Hudy said in prepared remarks. "We are looking forward to working with NGage and their team of experienced sales professionals who are dedicated exclusively to representing Siemens Healthcare products."
"Siemens has the most comprehensive portfolio for women’s health screening and diagnosis in the industry," added NGage president & CEO Brent Barron. "Our team of women’s health executives will represent a comprehensive offering of Siemens products and services, providing healthcare professionals a wide range of product options and innovative solutions in the care of their patients. NGage is honored to represent Siemens, the best brand in healthcare."
NGage deployed a separate diagnostic imaging sales team to represent Siemens "in communities that will benefit from an expanded availability of diagnostic health services," according to the release. The firm also set up teams of account executives across the country "who will solely represent Siemens Healthcare to hospitals, women’s health centers, imaging centers and physicians’ offices," according to the release.
