Norwegian investment manager Sector Gamma has raised $197.7 million for its healthcare fund, according to an SEC filing posted this week.
Sector Gamma spun out of Sector Asset management in 2006, and is run by six individuals managing two funds. The Sector Healthcare Fund was launched in 2005 and aims to invest in the global healthcare sector, according to the company’s website.
The Sector Healthcare Fund is a sub-fund of Sector Gamma Investment Funds, according to the SEC Filing.
Money in the fund comes from four anonymous investors, with the first investment in the fund noted on January 4, 2016, according to the filing.
