Nimbus gets Jack for CEO spot
Nimbus Concepts said last week it tapped Clifford Jack as its new CEO, stating that Jack will be “making a material investment in the firm” in addition to running day to day operations.
Nimbus Concepts is a medical device company focused on developing radiofrequency ablation technology devices. The company’s initial device is a percutaneous disposable electrode designed to provide “optimal lesion geometry” in treating spinal and select orthopedic pain syndromes.
“Since inception, Nimbus Concepts has been committed to developing and introducing improved technology and techniques to the field of RF ablation. We believe that our device platform allows for a notable improvement in success following thermal neuroablation procedures for pain management. Various RF technologies designed to increase procedural efficiency and safety, decrease medical cost, and provide high quality durable pain relief are in development, and the roll out of these devices will be greatly accelerated under Clifford Jack’s leadership. Attracting a seasoned executive like Cliff positions the company to take advantage of our superior technology in order to significantly grow the firm in the U.S. as well as abroad. The capital infusion will also allow us to accelerate delivering next generation disruptive technology in the broad field of thermal ablation,” founder and chief science officer Dr. Robert Wright said in prepared remarks.
