NASHUA, N.H., Dec. 2, 2014 — Resonetics is pleased to announce that it will be opening a new manufacturing site in San Diego, California in the first quarter of 2015. The modern 9,000 square foot facility will offer an array of laser processing technologies, a class 8 clean room and 24/5 operations.
“In response to customer needs, Resonetics will invest in a state-of-art operation on the West coast,” stated Tom Burns, CEO. “California is a very important medical device and diagnostics market. Opening this site will improve logistics and reduce supply chain costs for our West coast customers, facilitate interaction between our technical teams, and provide redundancy to meet corporate mandates for risk mitigation.”
The newly remodeled facility will undergo additional improvements and ISO 13485:2008 registration with a planned opening in late February.
