Pressure BioSciences Inc. won a $110,000 grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases to discover and catalog microbes that live on and in the human body.
The South Easton-based company, which specializes in sample preparation equipment for genomic and proteomic research, said it hopes the initial Small Business Innovation Research grant will pave the way for a larger grant of up to $1 million over two years.
