PRA International has opened new offices in the Middle East and Eastern Europe to expand the clinical research organization’s capabilities to conduct clinical trials throughout the world.
The new office in Tel Aviv, Israel expands on a presence in Israel that PRA initially established in 2007 through local contractors.
The privately held, Raleigh, N.C.-based CRO also opened a new office in the Ukraine. The country’s population of nearly 50 million makes it an attractive location for clinical trials, according to the company.
With the opening of the new offices, PRA now has 39 global offices. In the last year, the CRO has opened offices in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and New Zealand. PRA conducts clinical trials in all therapeutic areas in more than 80 countries.
