Pixium Vision this week said it launched a tender process for the purpose of finding buyers to acquire the company’s business.
The company has been unable to find financial investors within the restricted timeframe and in line with Pixium Vision’s needs. Pixium Vision is requesting the conversion of safeguard proceedings into receivership.
The deadline for submission of offers has been set by the court-appointed administrators to November 20, according to the company.
Candidates who are interested in buying the company can contact the court-appointed administrators, SCP Abitbol and Rousselet, represented by Joanna Rousselet, and Selarl FHB, represented by Hélène Bourbouloux.
Pixium Vision develops bionic vision for those who have lost their sight. The Prima System sub-retinal miniature photovoltaic wireless implant is currently in clinical testing for patients who have lost their sight due to outer retinal degeneration, initially for atrophic dry age-related macular degeneration.
