The U.S. Defense Dept. yesterday said it’s picking up the ninth renewal of a contract with the patient monitoring business at GE Healthcare (NYSE:GE) that’s worth more than $14 million.
Wauwatosa, Wis.-based GE Medical Systems Information Technology won the one-year renewal for the $14.4 million deal to provide patient monitoring systems, subsystems, accessories, consumables and training to the U.S. military and federal civilian agencies.
The fixed-price, economic-price-adjustment contract is good through Jan. 13, 2019, the Pentagon said, and is slated to be paid via appropriation from defense working capital funds for fiscal 2018 through 2019.
