Metal injection molding firm Parmatech Corp.’s newly acquired subsidiary Proform Corp. is planning to make its home in East Provdence, R.I., after buying a manufacturing facility there.
Petaluma, Calif.-based Parmatech‘s parent, ATW Cos., bought Proform last year to add to its MIM capabilities. The company serves the medical, telecommunications, firearms, handtools, semiconductor and electronic packaging markets.
Parmatech-Proform’s new Ocean State digs, a 25,000-square-foot facility, is set to be fully operational by summertime, when the company will move from its current shop in New Bedford, Mass.
Warwick, R.I.-based ATW also owns the A. T. Wall Co. of Warwick, R.I., and the Judson A. Smith Co. of Boyertown, Pa.
