Miach Orthopedics today announced it appointed Arjun Ishwar as VP of sales and marketing.
Ishwar brings experience in corporate strategic planning and execution, sales and marketing leadership and commercialization to the Westborough, Massachusetts-based company. He will lead Miach’s commercialization efforts for the Bridge-Enhanced ACL Restoration (BEAR) Implant, which launched in the U.S. in fall 2021.
“Arjun is a proven leader in the medical device field and has a strong track record of developing and implementing business strategies for medical technologies that improve patients’ lives. Lending his expertise to the BEAR Implant is a natural fit,” said President and CEO Patrick McBrayer. “Our experience working together to drive adoption of tissue regeneration products will be invaluable as we continue the commercial rollout of the BEAR Implant in the U.S.”
Most recently, Ishwar was chief commercial officer of MY01. He has also held varying roles of increasing responsibility at ACell. He has also held numerous sales and marketing roles for Integra Lifesciences, focused within its trauma and burn reconstruction business.
“My career has been focused on leading commercial teams bringing cutting edge medical technologies to patients, and I’m excited to further this passion at Miach,” Ishwar said. “The BEAR Implant helps patients restore the normal anatomy of their knee and has the potential to become the new standard of care in the treatment of ACL tears. I look forward to driving the strategy that makes this possible.”
