French spinal devices maker Vexim (EPA:ALVXM) this month welcome Medtronic (NYSE:MDT) veteran Sandrine Carle as its director of marketing.
Carle spent 15 years at Medtronic, focusing in particular on the medtech titan’s spinal business, Vexim said. She began in Medtronic’s French spinal business but later oversaw operations abroad.
Carle ultimately moved to Sunnyvale, Calif., to lead Medtronic’s global marketing for devices for treatment of lumbar stenosis and vertebral fractures.
Last year, after obtaining her executive MBA, Carle left Medtronic to serve as head of global marketing for Leica Microsystems’ ophthalmology department in Switzerland, according to a press release.
ALVXM shares closed last night at €10.40, up 2% on the day.
